This depends partly on what you are asking for and also on how well
you focus on what you want and how well you spot the ’signs’ that
the Universe sends you (as it will).
For example, if you want a luxury car and you don’t mind what type
of car you want, you may see some amazing results a lot quicker
than you would imagine.
If you know exactly what type of car you want, what colour, make
and model you want. The type of stereo you want and the type of
upholstery you want, and you specify these things, then it may take
the Universe a bit more time to deliver you what you want.
So I tend to advise my students to keep your desires broad and then
become more specific with what you want, adding in all the extras
as separate requests, so to speak.
Till the Next Time,
GK

Thank you Mike. I would love to check out your MP3s as I’m sure they can help with Vision Board work and focusing on what you want.
They could also be useful for a ‘Gratitude’ Session (watch out for a future post on this subject!)

Hi. I find that whenever I get really clear on my request, not only clarity of the details, but clear in the sense of releasing my attachments to it (as Joe Vitale suggests in the Attractor Factor), my request manifests faster. Whenever I get into that “I Need This/ Have to Have It/ Cannot Live without It” mindset, my request gets lost in the mail.

Travina - Fantastic comment.
You’re right - there are 2 ways of manifesting what you want and I subscribe to both of them but you need to know which of them to use and at which point. I think that is an intuitive thing.
The first school of thought is to put energy into your desire and then Let It Go. Soem say simply forget about it. But of course, before you do that you need to be sure that you’ve put enough desire and clarity into your wish.
The second school of thought says that you should keep on focusing on the thing that you want until you get it. I presonally prefer to use that first and then, if I’m not seeing the results or potnetial actions that could lead to my desire, then I use the first technique of Letting Go.
I am a firm believer that the thngs you desire can just ‘fly’ into your life, but often you need to be on the lookout and take active steps - inspired steps towards the things that you want. If you’ve let go completely, you need to be careful that you are still looking out for those inspired steps that will take you towards the thing that you want.
Lovely site you’ve got

I really do believe that God is sovereign and not to be treated like a genie out of the Arabian Nights. If you could just get anything you wanted, most if not all the teachers of the secret would be listed on Forbes 700 billionaires on the planet.
i think we should approach this law of attraction stuff knowing there is a God who could answer us or not at all Because if all our requests were answered, then our world would be chaotic at best. Imagine if Hitler attracted all that he wanted!
My blog has more on this. Visit today http://law-of-attraction-for-christians.blogspot.com/

Ricky - Thanks for your thought-provoking comments. It may surprise you to know that I personally agree that God is behind the Law of Attraction. At least he is in my world.
You see we are all entitled to our own beliefs and when I refer to The Universe in my book, websites and blog I am referring to God. Your God could be Buddha, Allah or any deity you want to refer to the Universal benevolent presence in our lives.
I am a devout Catholic, my son is an altar boy and my grand father was a priest.
But here’s where I think we differ - I don’t believe that a person has to also believe (in their own) God for the Law of Attraction to work.
The God that I believe in is ‘big’ enough to listen to prayers and wishes not just from those who ‘believe’ in him in a devout way. He hears all.
If you read through my blog or book you will see that I emphasise that The Universal One (God in my particular case) doesn’t grant all requests. He knows what is best for me and he knows what is best for you.
But what I do believe is that if you don’t put in a request, you won’t particularly receive anything.
I am pretty sure that he knew what was best for Hitler as well.
I would also hope that the Teachers from The Secret want something more profound than riches from the Law of Attraction. Once I understood and started applying the Law of Attraction, I move swiftly through the material phase and simply want more benevolent things in my life - better health, to be loved, to inspire others.
The Law of Attraction is not just about getting rich. There is so much more that you can do with it. And if you’re using it correctly, money will be way down the list of things you want. PHEW! Now that’s a long comment.

Thanks for your post on my blog.
I was hoping t start a blog on the Law of Attraction and MLM. I would need your input on that.
If the law of attraction is real, then i would want an opportunity and a platform to guide people one-on-one to achieve something, like some said in the secret movie, “start with a cup of coffee”. I think we should go pass that cup and parking spaces and move onto real bussiness like MLM especially online.
Let me have yur thots on that ok
thanks GK

Hello GK
thanks for your post. It is interesting to understand how you feel.
The teachers of the secret explain a few things on how we all attract things to our life. I think everything involved in attraction (passion, emotion, action, desire, imagination etc) was evident in the life of Hitler.
As you can see, it worked for awhile before the Almighty came down on him mightily.
for instance, as a soldier, he’d sit down quietly in a corner obviously imagining himself giving speeches against Maxist and Jews and he’d be so oblivious of his surrounding that he’d jump up and start giving a real one to his imagined audiences.
Hitler was known for delivering emotion-packed speeches that moved his listeners.
If we could copy his style, in the will of God, there is no telling how far we could go.
Yes he used his for evil but he still applied the law of attraction nontheless

Thanks for posting back - I like your blog as I don’t think there’s anything else out there like it. And it counters one of the biggest fallacies about LOA - that it runs counter to religion.
I don’t anything about MLM, but let’s chat offline about your ideas - sounds interesting.
LOA can be used in practically every area of life, because we both know that even if we are not actively using it, it is working in the background, all the time.
