Have you heard of ‘The Opus’?

February 24th, 2008 · 6 Comments

Joe Vitale’s blog put me onto this. It’s a movie due to be released in March 08 and it sounds like a ‘Secret’ type movie.

Not alot of details around at the moment, mainly this trailer and a teaser website.

Hmm…it does have a number of teachers from The Secret, but I’m not sure if  it will inform anymore than The Secret did (that movie only gave me a basic outline on the Law of Attraction, but didn’t tell people HOW to use the Law of Attraction).

It looks like it will feature Joe Vitale, Jack Canfield, John Demartini, Morris Goodman, Bob Doyle, Marci Shimoff, Mark Victor Hansen and by the looks of it, it’s being financed by Douglas Vermereen (the trailer trails it as”Introducing….DouglasVermereen”.

I’ve never heard of him before, but drop me a line if you know of him or anything about the movie.

Me, I’m still waiting for The Secret 2 to come out of post-production. Have you heard anything?

If so, leave a comment below.

By the way, Opus is the Latin word for ‘work’.

Have a Successful Day,

GK

I saw this Movie the Opus and loved it. It was far better than the Secret. I bought a copy and have watched it three times now. It was incredible. The information in this film is practical and awesome. it features more information than the secret and greater tdepth from the secret teachers than the secret ever had. Some of the people included in this film are Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Joe Vitale, Marci Shimoff, Bob Doyle, Morris Goodman and many others. It is defintiely a must see.

There are now trailers on Youtube and elsewhere on the next. You can also check out the official site at http://www.TheOpusMovie.com

    It’s a great show.

This just went up on The Opus Movie website. Behind the scenes pictures from The Opus Event in Calgary. Rumor had it that Calgary had more than 1300 people there and was packed. Check out the pictures:

    Troy

Thanks for the heads-up and the link. I won’t be able to make it to the Chicago event but it sounds great!

I’d be more than happy for you to share your thoughts of that event and the movie if you’d like to - either as a comment or a guest blog post ;-)

You were also asking about Douglas Vermeeren. I don’t know much about him - but I did hear him speak. The guy is incredible. I really enjoyed what he had to say and found him to be a pwerful teacher. I saw on another website that he was really voted the world’s #1 motivational speaker under 40. I think this could certainly be true. I found his website at http://www.DouglasVermeeren.com and as you know he is featured in The Opus. in the film all the teachers are great and Vermeeren defitinely keeps up with veterans like Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and the like. I think we will most likely be seeing a lot more of him.

Oh. I should also share my review of The Opus. it is really not a law of attraction film, so don’t go expecting that. But it is a very inspirational film with a lot of great insights to get to your goals. I really loved the Story. I thought this movie was very very different from The Secret - but it is really hard to say which I liked better because they are both great films and totally different. i think it would be unfair to even try and compare them - but check it out and make your own decision. I think they are both destined to be films that will change lives.

Neil - thanks for the comments and review. The Opus sure sounds like a more practical Law of Attraction moive than The Secret.

Douglas Vermeeren is certainly making his mark at the moment - his name’s cropping up al over the place and people seem to be pretty impressed with him (see Lorna’s comment here: http://lawofattractionblog.in30minutes.net/2008/02/28/who-are-your-favourite-teachers-from-%e2%80%98the-secret%e2%80%99/#comment-76 ).

I will look into him some more.

    Thanks for sharing.
