Who are your favourite teachers from ‘The Secret’?

2006 hit movie featured a number of Law of Attraction teachers. That movie also introduced a lot of new people to the age-old Law of Attraction.

It’s a very emotive movie and I know of a number of people who watch it regularly to fill themselves with optimism. My previous post looked at a ‘Secret-like’ movie, The Opus, featuring a number of teachers from The Secret. So today’s question to you is….Who are your favourite teachers from ‘The Secret’ and why? With the follow up question (as a follow up movie is apparently still in the pipeline), who would you like to see in the movie and why? In the first movie, my favourite teachers were Bob Proctor, Rev. Michael Beckwith, Joe Vitale and Esther Hicks. This was because they explained the Law of Attraction so clearly in a way that resonated with my own feelings and beliefs. To my mind, Bob Proctor was succinct and perhaps focused on manifestation for our individual good and that of others. Michael Beckwith stood out like a beacon for not only focusing on the spiritual side of the Law of Attraction, but for also assuring viewers that LOA is what God intended for us. Whether you believe in God or not, the Law of Attraction is there to support you to make your world and the wider world a better place. Joe Vitale came across as a humble chap who lives the Law of Attraction and lives fro others. Esther Hicks really appealed to me for her clarity. Her no-nonsense appeal summed up what the Law of Attraction is all about. As to who I’d like to see in the sequel to The Secret (apart from myself, of course ;-), I would like to see Wayne Dyer in the movie as I’ve recently picked up on his teachings which, whilst not really talking about the Law of Attraction by name, follows the principles and adds an extra spiritual dimension. I would also like to see some teachers who can focus on removing blockages to getting what you want. It might not be appropriate, but I am now a big fan of Gary Craig and his Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to remove blockages. But whether there will be space in the movie for this, only the producers can make that decision. Now over to your, what do you think? Thoughts below.

Learn Something New 2 Day!

Well I learnt something new today.

I’ve long ‘preached’ about the fact that the Law of Attraction has been known by man for many, many years. And that it is overtly referred to in practically all of the major religions in one way or another and in all of the major teachings across the world.

But what I DID NOT know was that the Law of Attraction is known (in Astrological circles) as the Law of Correspondence.

I’d heard that phrase briefly when I had the privilege of hearing Bob Proctor speak live.

Now Joe Vitale and one of his students has brought it to my attention again.

In the spirit of helping you to better understand and USE the Law of Attraction, I share these links with you on the Law of Correspondence.

Have you heard of ‘The Opus’?

Filed under: Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale, Law of Attraction, The Opus, The Secret — GK @ 7:12 am

Joe Vitale’s blog put me onto this. It’s a movie due to be released in March 08 and it sounds like a ‘Secret’ type movie.

Not alot of details around at the moment, mainly this trailer and a teaser website.

Hmm…it does have a number of teachers from The Secret, but I’m not sure if  it will inform anymore than The Secret did (that movie only gave me a basic outline on the Law of Attraction, but didn’t tell people HOW to use the Law of Attraction).

It looks like it will feature Joe Vitale, Jack Canfield, John Demartini, Morris Goodman, Bob Doyle, Marci Shimoff, Mark Victor Hansen and by the looks of it, it’s being financed by Douglas Vermereen (the trailer trails it as”Introducing….DouglasVermereen”.

I’ve never heard of him before, but drop me a line if you know of him or anything about the movie.

Me, I’m still waiting for The Secret 2 to come out of post-production. Have you heard anything?

If so, leave a comment below.

By the way, Opus is the Latin word for ‘work’.

Have a Successful Day,

Want To Be On TV?

Filed under: Joe Vitale, Law of Attraction — GK @ 3:08 am

They say that when the time is right for a good idea it can come to many people at precisely the same time.

A number of months ago, one of my students, Emile Rossouw, approached me. He is a diligent young man who I am convinced will someday be known to all of you. He WILL get what he wants in life – I can feel it. He approached me with an idea not a million miles away from Joe Vitale’s http://www.expectmiraclestv.com/ I can’t say anymore right now, but watch this space.

We’re still working through the details of this fantastic idea (drop me an email at TV@in30minutes.net if you have a Law of Attraction success story you want to share with us).

Watch this space for more on both these ideas whose time has come!

What Have ‘The Secret’ teachers Done Since The Movie?

With rumours of The Secret 2 in post-production, here’s a quick round up of what we know teachers from this acclaimed movie have done since:

Joe Vitale – has brought out a number of books Zero Limits, Attractor Factor and The Missing Secret. He also has a new TV show in production (watch out for my next post).

Bob Proctor has continued touring and promoting his ever-popular Science of Getting Rich Program (SGR Program)

Rev. Michael Beckwith continues to work with his AGAPE International Spiritual Center and is a key player in The Science of Getting Rich Program.

Jack Canfield is also a part of The Science of Getting Rich Program and also has out a new book The Key to Living the Law of Attraction.

Esther Hicks has brought out a number of books and CDs on topics including The Law of Attraction.

This in spite of the alleged public falling out with Rhonda Byrne.

Rhonda Byrne has herself become a celebrity in her own right. She has continued to increase ‘content’ around the movie ‘The Secret’ in a seemingly generous manner, including her book ‘The Secret’. She has also allowed the hit movie to be shown on free-to-air television in her native Australia.

Perhaps there’s hope for the rest of the world finally getting to see this movie that has changed so many lives – spiritually, financially and emotionally.

These are some of the main players in the movie, but post a quick comment below if you have heard anymore about any of the other teachers from ‘The Secret’?

Have You Read Joe Vitale’s Zero Limits?

I have and it’s been a fascinating read over the Holidays.

It’s one of the latest books by Joe Vitale (from The Secret) and Dr Hew Len Ihaleakala, a Hawaiian psychologist.

It’s about a modern version of the ancient Hawaiian spiritual practice of Ho’opopono.

In my post ‘What the…?’ I set out some of the basics of the book and promised to let you have a bit more information and whether I thought it was any good or not.

Well I certainly enjoyed it (and I don’t always enjoy everything from Joe Vitale). It’s certainly a different read.

It’s not so much an instructional manual, it’s more of a personal journey for Joe as he learns Ho’oponopono from Dr Hew Len Ihaleakala. And he takes us along as he travels this part spiritual/part manifestation path and along the way, we get to learn a bit about Ho-oponopono.

I can’t say we learn a lot, because it is truly so simple that there isn’t actually a lot to learn.

The phrases….

I’m Sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank You.

I Love You.

…pretty much sum up the philosophy.

Basically, in order to get in touch with the Divine inside of you, you accept that any faults You see in others are for You to heal.

One of the primary ways to do this is to say the phrase above whilst thinking of or viewing the ‘problem’ in mind.

There is, of course a lot more to Ho’oponopono than this and I will explore a bit more about my thoughts on it in future posts.

But I encourage you to take a look at it. If you’re not looking for a step by step manual, it’s certainly worth exploring. And unlike many of the things around the Law of Attraction and Manifestation, it doesn’t focus on getting you material things.

It’s actually about achieving inner peace, so that the things that you want can arrive (if you still desire them).

If you have already read Zero Limits, drop me a line here sharing what you think of it.

Yours,

GK

(I’ve been reading Joe Vitale & Dr Hew Len Ihaleakala’s new book, Zero Limits).

Watch out for a future post coming real soon that will join up the dots for you. In the meantime, just remember the above phrase.

You’re likely to hear a lot more of it in 2008.
